Nominations for sustainability champions being accepted

Nominations for the 11th annual Sustainability Champion Awards are being accepted by the Office of Sustainability Practices.

The awards ceremony celebrates the contributions of students, faculty, staff members and community members who practice and support the ideals of sustainable living.

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, March 12, and the nomination form can be found at www.gvsu.edu/sustainability.

Selected champions will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, March 22, in the Kirkhof Center Grand River Room.

The Environmental and Sustainability Studies Student Showcase will feature presentations before and after the Champion Awards luncheon in Kirkhof Center, room 2263.
