Grand Valley has been recognized for the fourth year in a row as a "Gold Level" veteran-friendly institution by the Michigan Veteran Affairs Agency.

The MVAA's veteran-friendly school program recognizes academic institutions of higher learning that are committed to supporting the needs of student veterans and dependents. Three levels, including gold, silver and bronze, are awarded by the organization.

The MVAA serves as a central coordinating point to connect those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and their families to services and benefits throughout the state, including resources and information about education.

Grand Valley's Veterans Network offers a wide range of services and support for student veterans and prospective students. For more information, visit https://www.gvsu.edu/veterans/
