Grad students to present research April 10

More than 30 graduate students will display their research and scholarly activities at the 8th annual Graduate Showcase: Education for the Future.  

Research topics include cardiovascular disease and cell health, mixed reality video production, data visualization, anti-bias reading framework in elementary schools, mastectomy tattoos, effectiveness in syringe exchange programs, and more.

The Graduate School will host the event April 10, in Loosemore Auditorium on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus. Poster presentations will be from 3:30-5:15 p.m.; remarks and poster recognitions will run from 5:15-6 p.m. with Provost Maria Cimitile; Robert Smart, vice provost for Research Administration; Jeff Potteiger, dean of The Graduate School; and Mark Luttenton, professor of biology.
