Surplus Store to hold summer sale

The Surplus Store at Grand Valley State University, which sells used university equipment and materials as part of an effort to reduce landfill waste and increase sustainability, will be open for a special sale Saturday, June 27.

The store, located at 140 Front Ave. SW in Grand Rapids, will be open 9 a.m.–noon.

Special sale pricing will be offered on several items, including 25 percent off all furniture, including desks, tables, office swivel chairs, stackable chairs, couches, dressers and more. All laptops are also on sale for $20 off sticker price. 

Customers in-store can get 5 percent off their total purchase by 'liking' the Surplus Store's designated sale post Saturday, either on Facebook or 'favoriting' the same post on Twitter.
