GVSU Surplus Store to hold special anniversary sale

Grand Valley's Surplus Store is celebrating its first anniversary with a sale and special hours of operation on Saturday, February 28, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Customers will receive 15 percent off of their total purchase, and the store will provide popcorn and hold a drawing for a $25 Surplus Store gift certificate.

Some of items that are available for purchase are laptops, desktop computers, Apple iMac computers, office chairs and furniture, cell phones, computer monitors and more.

The Surplus Store is located at 140 Front Street SW, south of the university’s Seidman Center and across the street from the Bicycle Factory. Items for sale are surplus university inventory. Sales help sustainability efforts at the university by keeping items out of the landfill.

The Surplus Store is normally open on Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
