Grand Valley named a 'greenest college'

Grand Valley State University has been named one of the country's greenest colleges by Best Colleges, an online resource for prospective students.

The list names the 50 U.S. colleges and universities that have earned the highest STARS (Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment and Rating System) rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. Grand Valley has maintained gold status for the past three years. The methodology for the list also included analyzing enrollment, acceptance, retention and graduation rates from the National Center for Education Statistics.
