Design show to spotlight GVSU seniors

The culmination of four years of hard work and learning by 11 Grand Valley graphic design students will be put on display during PRIME, the 2015 senior design show.

PRIME: GVSU 2015 Senior Design Show
Thursday, April 9 from 6-9 p.m.
The Conference Centers of WMU-Grand Rapids
200 Ionia Avenue SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

During the exhibition, senior student designers will display their final projects showcasing their skills in typography, branding, packaging and much more. Each designer will transform an individual space into their personalized representations of both their design styles and personalities.

While this event will provide an opportunity for the West Michigan community to see what’s new in the world of design, graphic design major Anna Dorsey said preparing this final showcase has been bittersweet.

“It is clearly a difficult pill to swallow, this sinking realization that we will not be working together again. We have spent three years perfecting our knowledge of design and how to solve problems with artistic flare. Each of us has a unique skillset and a passion for design so it will be very cool to see where each of us end up,” Dorsey said.
