Laker Line: Updates on the future of Route 50

A series of meetings will be held Thursday, April 17, at three locations, to gather feedback on the Laker Line Study, the study evaluating the potential for Bus Rapid Transit connecting Grand Valley campuses.

• 9-11 a.m. — Walker Fire Station,4101 Lake Michigan Dr, NW, Standale
• Noon-2 p.m. — Kirkhof Center, Pere Marquette Room, GVSU Allendale Campus
• 5-7 p.m. — Rapid Central Station, 250 Grandville Ave SW, Grand Rapids
 
Topics discussed will include routing options, station locations and other Route 50 service amenities. Transit experts will talk about cutting-edge technologies and enhancements that could improve how commuters get to school, work, and around the Grand Rapids region.
 
This is a drop-in event. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
