GVSU signs reverse transfer agreements
Grand Valley State University has signed transfer agreements with
Alpena Community College and Mid Michigan Community College.
The agreements help students who transfer to Grand Valley
complete an associate’s degree at the community colleges.
The initiative applies to Alpena Community College students who
have completed at least 45 credits at ACC, but transferred before
earning an associate’s degree. It also applies to Mid Michigan
Community College students who have completed at least 15 credits at MMCC.
Grand Valley also has a reverse transfer agreement with
Northwestern Michigan College; a formal signing was held in Traverse
City April 4.
Grand Valley has similar transfer agreements with Grand Rapids
Community College, Muskegon Community College, West Shore Community
College, Montcalm Community College, North Central Michigan College,
Jackson Community College, Lansing Community College, and Macomb
Community College.
