Grand Valley State University signed a reverse transfer agreement
August 12 with Kirtland Community College in Roscommon.
The agreement helps students who transferred to Grand Valley
complete an associate’s degree at the community college. The
initiative applies to students who have completed at least 45 credits
at KCC, but transferred to Grand Valley before earning an associate’s
degree.
Grand Valley has 20 reverse transfer agreements with community
colleges across the state, including Alpena, Glen Oaks, Grand Rapids,
Gogebic, Jackson, Kellogg, Kirtland, Lake Michigan, Lansing, Macomb,
Mid-Michigan, Montcalm, Mott, Muskegon, North Central Michigan,
Northwestern Michigan, Southwestern Michigan, Washtenaw, Wayne County
District and West Shore community colleges.
