Campus Recreation is sponsoring a film and panel discussion that
centers on Title IX and the advancements made since the legislation
passed in 1972.
"Title IX: License to Thrive" is set for Wednesday,
October 24, beginning at noon in the Kirkhof Center, room 2250.
Following the film, panel members will discuss the legislation and its
role in providing educational access and opportunities for women and girls.
Panel members are Dwight Hamilton, assistant vice president for
Affirmative Action; Keri Becker, associate athletic director; Patti
Rowe, professor of movement science; and Sally Ross, professor of
movement science.
