New Yorker shares Occupy Wall Street stories
Author and activist Sherry Wolf will share her stories about being
on the front lines of the Occupy Wall Street movement at an event that
will kick off Grand Valley’s Campus
Leadership Week.
Wolf will discuss how the movement came about, how it is
evolving and how it affects economic, political and social
transformations.
The event is sponsored by the LGBT Resource Center and will take
place Monday, January 23, at 7 p.m. in the Pere Marquette Room of the
Kirkhof Center.
“We’ve noticed that many students are asking their professors
about the Occupy movement, so we hope this event can answer some
questions and open discussion,” said Colette Seguin Beighley, director
of the LGBT Resource Center.
