A memorial tribute for Santiago Zapata Jr. will be held on Tuesday, October 2, in the DeVos Center, Loosemore Auditorium.
The service for Zapata will begin at 2 p.m. Zapata served as program advisor for the TRiO Educational Talent Search program. He was found dead in his home on September 25.
Elaine Collins, dean of the College of Education, said the campus community and the public are invited to the service to share memories of Zapata. A reception will follow.
