The Grand Valley community is mourning the death of Jessie Rose
Winterholler, a Grand Valley student who died Friday while crossing
the street in Walker. The accident happened around 8 p.m. near Three
Mile Road and Nolan Ave. Authorities said Winterholler was hit by a
car while crossing Three Mile.
There was a moment of silence for Winterholler during the fall
commencement ceremony December 8.
