Paul J Reitemeier, chair of the Human Research Review Committee and associate professor of philosophy, was interviewed by Chicago’s Pulse magazine for a story about the Grand Valley response to the federal government’s proposed new rules for protecting human participants in research.
Frank Blossom, visiting professor of communications, was interviewed by WGVU as part of a new monthly segment he helped launch, “Meijer Gardens Music,” which showcases the music, musicians and stories of the Outdoor Summer Concert Series.

Colette Seguin Beighley, director of the LGBT Resource Center, co-presented two workshops, “Theory to Practice in LGBT Campus Work” and “Strategic Planning, Environmental Scanning, and Funding Your Center,” at the Expanding the Circle 2012 Summer Institute in San Francisco.
