Grand Valley police said today that a report of an attempted sexual
assault Wednesday evening on the Allendale Campus has been recanted.
The student now says the incident never occurred. This is the second
time in two weeks that a student reported an attempted assault and
then admitted to investigators that the incident did not happen.
