Dorothy A. Johnson, former member of Grand Valley's Board of Trustees and president emeritus of the Council of Michigan Foundations, was presented with an honorary doctorate of humane letters at Grand Valley's commencement ceremony December 10.
Johnson delivered the commencement address, "An Important FOUR Letter Word," to nearly 1,000 students who participated in the ceremony at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids.
