Expert panel will discuss clean energy future, job outlook

A panel of experts from Michigan will discuss the future of clean energy and what it means for the economy at a round table discussion at Grand Valley State University’s Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center (MAREC). The panel will also discuss the current Michigan job outlook of more than 100,000 clean energy jobs.

Tuesday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m.
MAREC, 200 Viridian Dr., Muskegon
The event is free and open to the public.

The panel will include former Michigan congressman and BlueGreen Alliance representative Mark Schauer, Michigan representative from the Laborers International Union of North America Dan Fingas and Director of MAREC Arn Boezaart. 

The event is also presented by the Sierra Club, BlueGreen Alliance and Yes to West Michigan Wind Power.
