As part of his West Michigan Entrepreneur and Innovation Tour, U.S.
Rep. Bill Huizenga will visit Grand Valley State University’s Michigan
Alternative and Renewable Energy Center Thursday. He will visit
companies participating in MAREC’s business and technology incubation program.
Huizenga will attend and speak at a workshop led by
entrepreneurs about the resources available to start a small business.
Representatives from Grand Valley’s Center for Entrepreneurship and
Innovation and the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development
Center will speak at the workshop as well.

Dr., Muskegon
The workshop is open to the public.
“Small businesses are America’s true job creators, and the
Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center is a business
incubator right here in Western Michigan. It’s a great resource to
draw innovators and job creators to the 2nd District,” Huizenga said.
