ALLENDALE, Mich. -- Steinway Artist Louis Nagel will perform for the
William Baum Lecture Series at Grand Valley State University. A graduate
of The Juilliard School and a student of Rosina Lhevinne and Joseph
Raieff, Nagel has been performing before the public for more than 50
years. He has played and taught at the University of Michigan since
1969.
His performance will be on Sunday, March 8, from 3-5 p.m. in the Sherman
Van Solkema Recital Hall, Performing Arts Center, on the Allendale Campus.
The concert is presented by the Political Science Department at Grand
Valley, honoring the memory of Professor Emeritus William Baum, a
champion of the arts and ardent humanitarian. Admission is free and open
