Presidents' Ball Feb. 6

The 23rd annual Presidents' Ball  is Feb. 6 in DeVos Place convention Center. Hosted by Grand Valley President Thomas J. Haas and Student Senate President Autumn W. Trombka, this year's theme is "A Roman Triumph." Assistant professor of history Craig Benjamin will receive the Student Award for Facility Excellence and Trustee Donna Brooks will receive the Distinguished Individual of the Year Award.

The ball will showcase many of Grand Valley's talented students with performances by MidNight Snack, the Grand Valley’s Classics Society and Three Heel Clicks to Home. This event highlights the achievements of outstanding students, staff, faculty and alumni. New to this year’s event is a shuttle service providing transportation to DeVos Place from both Allendale and Grand Rapids campuses.

Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m., with a program and dinner at 6:30 p.m. and a dance beginning at 8:30 p.m. Doors will close at 11 p.m. Tickets are available at the 2020 Information Desk. Dinner and dance tickets are $30, available until Tuesday, February 3 at 5 p.m. After Feb. 3, tickets are available by contacting Natalie Cleary at the Office of Student Life x12913 or at [email protected]. Tickets for the dance are $10, available until Friday at 7 p.m. and $20 at the door. Photo IDs are required for admission to the event.
