Help with writing projects available during retreats

Two writing retreats are scheduled in April and August to help faculty and staff members with their dissertations, manuscripts, grant applications or other projects.

Sponsored by the Fred Meijer Center for Writing and the Provost's Office, the week-long retreats will be held at the writing center in Lake Ontario Hall on April 27-May 1 and August 3-7.

Ellen Schendel, associate professor of writing and director of the Meijer Center for Writing, will facilitate the retreats. The retreats are available at no charge and snacks and lunches will be provided to participants each day.
