Guevara serves on interim basis in School of Social Work

Julia Guevara, assessment and accreditation officer, began serving as interim director of the School of Social Work at the start of the winter semester.

Guevara is on a half-time loan from her duties in the Provost's Office. Assisting her with the daily administrative tasks of the school are Joan Borst, acting director of the MSW program; and Elaine Schott, professor of social work.

The position of director was vacated in July when George Grant was named dean of the College of Community and Public Service. The search for a permanent director continues.
