The Grand Valley State University community is mourning the death
of one of its students. The university's Department of Public Safety
reports that it appears there were no signs of foul play.
An officer found the body in South B on the Allendale Campus around
4:30 p.m. on March 10, 2009. After the student didn't show up for a
scheduled meeting, Public Safety was asked to check on his well-being
and the discovery was made.
The Counseling Center staff has responded to the situation as well.
