Counseling Center will hold eating disorders screenings

Grand Valley's Counseling and Career Development Center will hold screenings on National Eating Disorders Day, Thursday, February 26.

Staff members will be available to help anyone in the campus community who is concerned about over-exercise, weight gain or caloric intake. Participants will fill out a brief questionnaire and have an opportunity to speak with a counselor; referrals and resources will be provided.

Counselors will be available at the following locations:

  • Kirkhof Center lobby, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Kliener Commons, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • DeVos Center student project area, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences lobby, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • North C Living Center room 137, noon-2 p.m.
  • Campus Recreation Center, 4-6 p.m.
  • Student Services Building room 204, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
