Writing retreats scheduled

Faculty and staff members who are working on dissertations, book manuscripts, grant applications, or other writing projects are invited to attend writing retreats at the  Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors in Lake Ontario Hall.

The first retreat is April 28-May 2, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; a second retreat will run August 4-8.

Ellen Schendel, associate professor of writing and director of the center, will facilitate the retreats. Meals, snacks and writing-related materials will be provided. There is no fee to participate in the retreats. Registration is limited to 15 participants for each retreat.
