Michigan Deputy Director of Mental Health and Substance Abuse
Administration Mike Head will speak at the annual meeting of The Arc
Kent County. Head’s talk, "What’s Next" will address the
future of services and supports for people with developmental disabilities.
The meeting, sponsored in part by Grand Valley State University’s School
of Social Work, will take place Monday, September 29, at 6 p.m., in
Loosemore Auditorium, DeVos Center, Pew Grand Rapids Campus, 410 W. Fulton.
At 6 p.m., Dohn Hoyle, executive director of The Arc Michigan, will give
an update on state level advocacy issues; Head will begin speaking at
6:30 p.m.
