A team of runners from Grand Valley State University Public Safety
finished third place in the fifth annual "Runnin' with the Law,
Grand Rapids Foot Pursuit" 5K.
The run, held on May 17, was a benefit for the nonprofit group Thin Blue
Line of Michigan.
"It was a wonderful day for running," said Officer Gwen
DeGraaf, one of the four participants from Grand Valley.
DeGraaf took third place for female law enforcement officers. Officer
Jeff Stoll finished in the top 10. Also participating were Paul Weaver
and Scott Dusendang.
