The Women's Center will sponsor a three-part brown bag lunch series led
by Grand Valley political science faculty and focusing on the
presidential election and issues important to voters.
The first discussion, “Gender, Race and Media Coverage,” will be held
Thursday, October 2, beginning at noon in the Kirkhof Center, room 2270.
The discussion will be led by Erika King.
Other discussions are set for October 9, “Two and Three Party System:
How Viable?” led by Donald Zinman; and October 16, “Electoral College:
2008 Strategies,” by Roger Moiles. All discussions will begin at noon in
Kirkhof Center, room 2270.
Participants are encouraged to bring their lunches. For more
