Nathaniel Chaitkin, professor of chamber music at Michigan State
University, is a distinguished cellist noted for his appearances as
soloist and chamber musician on stages across the U.S. and abroad. For
his first visit to Grand Valley State Univeristy, Chaitkin performs a
solo concert featuring one of the cornerstones of the string repertoire:
the Suite in E-flat Major by Johann Sebastian Bach.
The Arts at Noon concert is Tuesday, February 19, from noon-1 p.m., in
the Cook-DeWitt Center, Allendale Campus. Admission is free. For more
