The Grand Valley Mathematics Department has reaccreditation of both the
elementary and secondary mathematics education programs, awarded as
National Recognition, from the National Council of Accreditation of
Teacher Education.
“Receiving this recognition from NCATE was the result of true team
effort in my department. Nearly all of the faculty participated in some
part of the creation, implementation, or analysis of assessments of
student work in nearly a dozen of our courses,” said Ed Aboufadel,
Mathematics Department chair.
