The exhibit of Inuit Art from the Dennos Museum Center, at Northwestern
Michigan College in Traverse City, will close on Friday, March 21.
Display cases in Padnos Hall containing about 15 items, including prints
and serpentine sculptures depicting the traditional life of the Inuit
peoples, have been on loan from one of the largest and most historically
complete collections of art by the native peoples of the Canadian Arctic
in the United States. The exhibit is in connection with the
International Polar Year events planned throughout the past year by the
Regional Math and Science Center.
