Lectures, a panel discussion and free HIV testing are a part of HIV/AIDS
Awareness Week, presented by FACE AIDS at Grand Valley. The week-long
events are co-sponsored by The Women’s Center, Grand Valley Christian
Community and the Student Life Fund.
Events are as follows:
Tuesday, Nov. 18:
Perception of AIDS Around the World: An Anthropological Discourse
presented by Azizur Molla, assistant professor of anthropology, at noon,
in room 2215/2216 of the Kirkhof Center.
Wednesday, Nov. 19:
Broken Bread HIV/AIDS
Poverty and Hunger Meal
Loutit 102, 7-9 p.m.
Free HIV Testing with the Ottawa County Health Department, 9:30
a.m.-1:30 p.m., in room 2266/2270 Kirkhof Center
Panel Discussion: Prevalence of HIV/AIDS in America/West Michigan, 4

Thursday, Nov. 20:
Free HIV Testing with the Kent County Health Department at the Pew Grand
