GVSU president testifies before senate subcommittee on higher education

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.— Grand Valley State University President Thomas J. Haas will lead off testimony before the state Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Higher Education when members meet on Grand Valley’s Pew Grand Rapids Campus. Haas begins testifying at 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 25, at Grand Valley’s Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences.

Media coverage of the hearing is encouraged February 25, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Grand Valley State University, Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, 301 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Others scheduled to testify are Western Michigan University, Northern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Ag Experiment Station and Cooperative Extension Service and Michigan Farm Bureau.
