Grand Valley feature film to play in Holland

HOLLAND, Mich. - "To Live and Die in Dixie," a feature-length film produced by the Grand Valley State University Summer Film Project in 2007, will play at Holland 7 theater, located on Waverly Road south of 16th Street in Holland. The film is scheduled to start Friday, August 8, and run through Thursday, August 14.

Dixie was shot entirely in West Michigan, drawing professional actors from Hollywood, Chicago, Detroit and Grand Rapids. Based on a true story of a love triangle at a southern college that ended with two murders, the film was produced by a crew of more than 60 Grand Valley students working side-by-side with professionals.
