Celebrating Campus Leadership

The "I am Grand Valley" student recognition campaign continues throughout the month of January with a series of Celebrating Campus Leadership events, highlighted by a traveling exhibit on U.S. Presidents, athletic contests, guest speakers, student organization events, and the annual “I am Grand Valley” Leadership Reception. Presidential Student Leadership Exhibit
Learn how United States presidents were involved during their college years. Members of Student Senate will also distribute voter registration information.
  • January 15, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Pew Campus, DeVos Building C
  • January 21, 1:00-4:00 p.m., Fieldhouse Arena Lower Lobby
  • January 22, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Henry Hall Atrium

“I am Grand Valley” Leadership Reception
Wednesday, January 23, 4:30-6:30 p.m. (drop-in), Kirkhof Center Pere Marquette Room
More than 450 students nominated for their leadership on campus and in the community will receive an “I am Grand Valley” t-shirt. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

Celebrating Campus Leadership events are presented by the Office of Student Life, Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies, Future Alumni Association, Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, Student Senate, and many others. For more information, visit www.gvsu.edu/iamgv .
