Arts at Noon features jazz violin
A seasoned classical soloist, a true, paid-his-dues jazz improviser and
a gifted teacher who bridges the gap between two worlds, Stanley
Chepaitis is truly bilingual in the classical and jazz idioms. For his
concert at Grand Valley, the violin professor from Indiana University of
Pennsylvania will be assisted by some of the area's most outstanding
jazz artists, among them pianist Steve Talaga. Wednesday, January 23 at
noon in the Cook-DeWitt Center, Allendale Campus. Free Admission. For
