WGVU continues the Independent Cinema series at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts with the film An Unreasonable Man . A discussion will follow with Grand Valley State University professor of Political Science Donald Winman, Abby Rubley of Environment Michigan and a representative of the Green Party of Michigan.
For over 40 years, Ralph Nader has worked tirelessly as
a consumer advocate, building a legislative record the rival of any
contemporary president. Yet today, many consider him merely an
egomaniac and a "spoiler." An Unreasonable Man
takes an unsparing look at one of the most important and
controversial political figures of our time.
This screening event is part of the ITVS Community Cinema program. The event will feature an hour-long sneak preview of the film. The complete, two-hour film airs nationally and on WGVU TV as part of the PBS series Independent Lens on Tuesday, December 18 at 10 p.m.
Free screenings of Independent Lens films are held the first Tuesday of every month. For more on the Independent Cinema series, including upcoming dates and films, visit wgvu.org/cinema.
