In the early morning hours of May 16, someone broke into the
administration wing of Zumberge Library on the Allendale Campus.
A boulder was thrown through a plate glass window to gain access to the
building. Grand Valley Public Safety reports two laptop computers were
taken. These computers had no valuable data on them to anyone outside of
the university. There were no social security numbers of students or
employees on them.
Damages are estimated at approximately $4,000. Public Safety continues
to investigate to determine who is responsible.
