Faculty and staff members and students who use Grand Valley’s free
Internet dial-up service will need to change the phone number they call.
Merit, the dial-up Internet service provider, is dropping the service
that provides access to the Internet.
The new service was made available on April 2; visit www.gvsu.edu/it/dialup
for the new modem phone numbers in your area. Choose a number that is a
local call as Grand Valley is not responsible for any charges.
Instructions on how to use the free Internet access provided by the
university are online at www.gvsu.edu/it
, click “Dial-up Internet Access.”
All dial-up users are asked to switch to the new numbers by May 30. All
other account information remains the same.
For more information or for questions, call the CTS HelpDesk at x12289.
