The fourth annual Take Back the Night rally, sponsored by the student
group Eyes Wide Open, will feature a presentation from a national
speaker and a march around campus in efforts to bring attention to
sexual assault and dating violence awareness and prevention.
Brett Sokolow, founder and president of the National Center for Higher
Education Risk Management, will talk about sexual assualt-related
legislation and how women can protect themselves during a presentation
at 8 p.m. on Monday, October 15, in the Louis Armstrong Theatre,
Performing Arts Center. His presentation is open to the public and free.
Following his presentation, participants will march to the Cook Carillon Tower.
