The second virtual race, sponsored by the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids and Grand Valley's Work Life Connections program, begins February 12 and runs for seven weeks. The grand prize is a trip to Detroit, tickets to a Tigers game, dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.
Participants earn points through exercise. Those who complete the 175-mile route to Detroit are eligible for the top prize. All participants who pay the $10 entry fee will receive an exercise band workout kit. To enter, visit www.gvsu.edu/worklife and click on "Virtual Race 2007."
