Last fall, Grand Valley received a $500,000 from the National Science
Foundation ADVANCE Program to increase the participation and advancement
of women faculty in science and engineering. Now, grant proposals are
being accepted to distribute some of that funding.
Applications may be for up to $5,000, although in some cases $10,000 is
availble. Proposals can cover a variety of activities from travel to lab
equipment. The deadline for summer and fall applications is May 15.
Information and application requirements is online at www.gvsu.edu/nsfadvance
