A panel of local experts from the health care sector will offer advice
to undergraduate and graduate students on the knowledge, skills,
abilities and experiences necessary to obtain professional positions in
health care.
Participants represent organizations including Saint Mary's Health Care,
Network 180, Zeeland Community Hospital and the Michigan Health and
Hospital Association.
This event is sponsored and coordinated by Pew Campus Student Services
with support from Careers Services, the College of Health Professionals,
the School of Public and Nonprofit Administration and the Kirkhof
College of Nursing.
The event is titled "Beyond Your Degree: Knowledge, Skills,
Abilities and Experiences that Health Employers Expect and Value!"
It will be held Tuesday, April 10 6-7:30 p.m. Hager Auditorium in the
Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences.
