Popular Farmers' Market offers local produce,
healthy tips

Participants at the GVSU Farmers' Market have the opportunity to buy local produce, get their blood pressure checked and eat a dish of ice cream with fresh berries.

The market, sponsored by Work Life Connections, will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, in parking lot F on the Allendale Campus. About 10 vendors are expected. In addition to fresh meats, produce, homemade breads and other items, Campus Recreation will be available to offer recipes, blood pressure screenings and other health tips. Campus Dining will offer ice cream made with fresh berries from one of the vendors.
