Vice President for Finance and Administratrion Jim Bachmeier announced that Jeff Musser was promoted to assistant vice president for University Budgets.
Bachmeier also said he is splitting the job duties of associate vice president into two: assistant vice president for University Budgets and assistant vice president for Business and Finance. The search for someone to fill the latter position, which will include duties of internal review and audit and grant compliance, has begun.
"Jeff will become a part of budget committee and will be a member of my senior staff," Bachmeier said. "We are not adding more people to the unit, but we are asking more of Jeff and I am confident he will deliver on that."
Musser joined Grand Valley in 1982.
