Kids Day at Farmer's Market Wednesday

This week, the GVSU Farmer's Market is hosting a Kids Day. There will be hula hoops, jump ropes, and hopscotch. Campus Recreation will be there to talk about childhood obesity and kid-friendly recipes, and Campus Dining will feature a vendor to make healthy fare. There will also be a selection of the area's best produce, including strawberries, bread, flowers, jerky, organic meats and varieties of vegetables.

Sponsored by Work Life Connections, the event is Wednesday, June 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in parking lot F on the Allendale Campus. The market runs Wednesdays (except July 4) through August 22.
