Peter N.R.O. Ogego, the ambassador of Kenya to the United States, will
give a presentation on business partnerships and opportunities in Kenya
at Grand Valley State University.
Ogego will talk about the Kenyan government’s economic strategy, “Vision
2030,” which is covered by three pillars of opportunity for businesses.
Ogego’s topics will also include Kenya’s current economic climate, new
business opportunities in tourism and gaming and an overview Kenya’s
people and culture. The presentation will be Friday, August 24 from 2-4
p.m. in the University Club room of the DeVos Center on Grand Valley’s
Pew Grand Rapids Campus.
Ambassador Ogego holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and
international law and has a master’s degree in public organization and
management from the Makerere University in Uganda.
