International Faculty and Friends Reception November 16

The GVSU community is invited to welcome faculty and staff colleagues from other countries at the International Faculty and Friends Reception on Friday, November 16, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in room 215/216 of the Kirkhof Center.

Ed Aboufadel, Chair of the Math Department and organizer of the event, commented that the reception “is an opportunity for GVSU faculty from around the world to build new collegial relations on campus and strengthen current relations.  The program is a show of support for members of the GVSU community concerned with issues uniquely faced by international faculty.”

The International Faculty and Friends Reception is sponsored by the Office of Student Life, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, and the Padnos International Center.  The event is part of the Intercultural Festival, taking place November 12-16.  For the full schedule of Intercultural Festival events, visit www.gvsu.edu/if .
