Five students with ideas for new products, businesses or services will
compete on February 26 in the second Idea Pitch Competition at Grand
Valley State University.
The event is sponsored by GVSU's Center For Entrepreneurship and the
Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization. The pitch must be an original,
innovative concept, created by the
presenter. Each participant will have 90 seconds to pitch their
business idea without the use of any A/V or sales aids (although a
product prototype is allowed).
The first place prize is $1,500, second place is $900 and third place is $400.
The final round will be held on Monday February 26, at the Eberhard
Center, Room 201-03 from 7:30-10 p.m. For more information, visit the
the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization's Web site at www.gvsuceo.com
